On February 11, the Berlin State Library and the research group “Arbeitskreis Materialität der Literatur” are hosting the event “Sonderdruck. Wissenschaftliches Publizieren auf Papier im 21. Jahrhundert”. Several panelists will talk about the book series “Sonderdruck”, a new format for publishing short, high-quality academic works written primarily by graduate students. Lothar Müller (Süddeutsche Zeitung) will introduce this publishing framework in an introductory lecture. The editors of the series Valentin Groebner, Anke te Heesen, Christina Wessely, and Michael Wildt, as well as the book designer Helmut Völker will then further discuss the project.
The event begins at 6:15 pm at Simón-Bolívar-Saal, Haus Potsdamer Straße. Please see the official announcement for more information.
We’d also like to remind you of the ongoing lecture series “The Materiality of Text” at Staatsbibliothek Berlin.
