We are pleased to share information on an upcoming interdisciplinary event in Vienna dealing with digital media and book history research. The symposium, titled “Back to the Future”, will be held from 15-17 October 2014. The event will begin on Wednesday, October 15 at 6pm with an evening discussion on “Pixels or Paper? Will E-Books Replace Printed Books?” in the old city hall (Wipplingerstraße 6-8). Two days of papers and discussions, held in German and English, will follow at the Wienbibliothek in city hall (Bartensteingasse 9, 1st floor). The event is dedicated to Norbert Bachleitner on occasion of his 60th birthday this year.
