The large-scale research project at the University of Duisburg-Essen on literary prizes in the German-language area, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2017 to 2021, has drawn to a close. In addition to an edited volume reviewed here two years ago, the research group has now published another major output, an expansive monograph co-written by Sarah Maaß and Dennis Boghardt. The book is titled Der Wert der Preise – Valorisierungsdynamik in der deutschen Literaturpreislandschaft 1990-2019 and is available fully open access via the publisher website.
