The research project of the DFG collaborative research center 933 Material Text Cultures. Materiality and Presence of Writing in Non-Typographic Societies, project A06 (The Paper Revolution in Late Mediaeval Europe. Comparative Investigations into Changing Technologies and Culture in ‘Social Space’) is hosting an interdisciplinary workshop on 25th and 26th April 2019 in Heidelberg. The workshop, titled “Cultures du texte, cultures du livre”, will consider the the late medieval book around 1500.
