The city library of Ulm was founded in 1516. Several activities will be taking place on occasion of the 500th anniversary of the foundation, for instance a conference on Frater Felix Fabri (9-10 September), whose most important works are housed in the Stadtbibliothek Ulm. Further events include a discussion with Kathrin Passig (September 22) and a talk given by book historian Stephan Füssel about changes in reading habits from the 15th to the 21st century (October 5).
