We would like to inform our followers and readers about an upcoming event at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin which will be held in cooperation with the event series Die Materialität von Schriftlichkeit – Bibliothek und Forschung im Dialog. In order to commemorate the 400th year of Shakespeare’s death, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin invites the public to join in an evening with “three acts” on Tuesday, April 26 from 5 to 8 pm:
- Sabine Schülting (FU Berlin) will speak about “Shakespeare
– undead?”
- Andreas Wittenberg (SBB-PK) will present the library’s Shakespeare holdings
- Frank Günther (freelance translator) will speak about Shakespeare’s wondrous worlds of language
