A entirely new edition of de Gruyter’s standard handbook on reading research has just been published. Reading. An interdisciplinary handbook is edited by Ursula Rautenberg (Erlangen) and our associated scholar Ute Schneider (Mainz) and brings together the latest research findings in neurophysiology, psycholinguistics, education, sociological communications theory, and book studies. Besides Rautenberg and Schneider, some of the other well-known experts who contributed to the volume are Heinz Bonfadelli, Ralf de Jong, Svenja Hagenhoff, Axel Kuhn, Sandra Rühr and Konrad Umlauf as well as our associated scholar Günther Fetzer.
