Dear Followers and Friends,
As of November 26, 2013, our blog has been online for 6 months. We wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you! Overall, the blog has been very well-received and thanks to WordPress, we’d like to share some of the statistics with you (status quo: December 3, 2013). In 6 months, we have published over 50 posts. The most traffic we have had on one day was 80 individual visitors who spent time on our blog, logging 317 views on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 alone. In the past 6 months, the blog has been viewed 6,226 times from all around the world! Views have been recorded from no less than 68 countries. The image here shows the top 25 countries that views have come from (simply click on the map for a better view). Our Twitter account (@bookhistorynetw) has 85 followers to this date – and counting.
In order to stay on track, we ask you to send us material regarding book historical and print culture-related research in the German-speaking area or about the German-speaking country. Let us know if you’d like to be involved – we do offer the opportunity to write guest posts or reviews.
